History of the FWCO
The founder of the Free Will Chamber Orchestra is Simon Reyes, a composer/pianist who graduated from CSUCI in 2022 with a BA in Performing Arts with emphasis in Music. The ensemble was formed the very same year and has continued to grow ever since. Beginning as a mere duet, then a trio, quartet and so on until finally it became the 24 piece orchestra it is today. The orchestra continues to grow and is currently the only orchestra in southern California that plays completely original music. The orchestra is always accepting new members and has performed in various locations throughout Ventura County including Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo and Moorpark.
Our orchestra is now officially a nonprofit organization currently looking for sponsors!
